Cadastral Maps Network - News: final version of the Questionnaire available now!

Cadastral Maps Network: in cooperation with ICARUS, the Budapest City Archives designed a questionnaire to gather information concerning holdings of cadastral documents in European institutions, aiming at an evaluation of the status, localisation, condition, use etc. of maps and corresponding documents, focussing on the results from the first coherent modern land surveys in Europe (e.g. the Franciscean Cadastre).

The questionnaire addresses all institutions that are dealing with (hosting, processing, preserving, etc.) cadastral documents and we would ask you to fill it in and return it to to Mr András Sipos ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) of the Budapest City Archives by 29th February 2012 to enable a processing and evaluation of the incoming data within next Spring.

Thank you very much for your cooperation!!
